3-4-8: HOW JEWELRY SOLD:
Every auctioneer who shall offer for sale any watch, plate or jewelry of any kind, shall announce to the persons present, in a loud manner, whether the same is gold or silver, gold or silver plate or wash, or base metal, before offering the same for sale, and for a failure to make such an announcement, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each and every offense.
