No person, whether licensed or not, shall give, produce, present, conduct or offer, either publicly or privately, with or without charging an admission fee, any indecent, immoral, lewd or impure play, exhibition, entertainment, performance, apparatus or production or any play, exhibition, entertainment, performance, apparatus or production suggestive of anything indecent, immoral, lewd or impure, within the city, under penalty of not less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense.
