The word "entertainment" wherever used in this chapter shall be taken to mean and include theatricals, and other exhibitions, shows, and amusements wherein or whereby any person or persons shall act, play or perform any play, opera or other dramatic musical composition or give performance of any kind, or give any show or public exhibition for gain.
