§ 2.48.010   Established.
   An adult center in and for the city is established and its location shall be at 1250 South Ivy Street, Canby, Oregon. It shall be known as the Canby Adult Center (CAC). The City Council proposes to finance the CAC by annual tax levies in an amount necessary for the maintenance of the CAC.
§ 2.48.020   Purpose.
   The CAC is organized to responsibly involve all interested citizens of the area in ways that dignify the aging process and enhance the community.

§ 2.48.030    Goal statements.
   The goals of the CAC are:
   A.   To create an atmosphere and provide an opportunity for seniors and disabled persons to get together with their peers;
   B.   To allow persons the option of choice by providing them with realistic alternatives;
   C.   To help seniors live independently and with dignity as long as possible;
   D.   To provide senior and disabled persons socially enriching experiences which would help preserve their dignity as human beings and enhance their feelings of self-worth; and
   E.   To function for all senior and disabled persons in the community, not simply the participants at the center.

§ 2.48.090   User fees.
   Any fees assessed and collected by the city from the rental of the CAC shall be placed in a budget line item to provide for future maintenance and repairs of the center and its equipment.
