(A) This chapter is intended to provide full compliance with the requirements for global positioning monitoring system devices and for the operation of the global positioning monitoring systems as set for in KRS 67.372, KRS 67,374, KRS 403.175 to 403.785, and KRS 456.100, These statutes provide minimum requirements for the operation of the program as it relates to the equipment of monitoring equipment, GPMS monitoring and actions to be taken when violations occur by participants of the CCHIP.
(B) The CCHIP might be used for monitoring a respondent and petitioner pursuant to KRS 403.715 to 403,785, monitoring the pretrial release of a
charged with a crime pursuant to KRS 431.515 to 431.550, monitoring a
assigned to a pretrial diversion program pursuant to KRS 533.250 to 533.262, and monitoring a
granted probation or conditional discharge pursuant to KRS Chapter 533.
