§ 71.01 MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT.
   (A)   The maximum speed limit for all vehicles, except as mentioned herein, on roads in Campbell County, shall be 35 mph unless otherwise posted by appropriate sign so designated by the Campbell County Fiscal Court.
   (B)   Appropriate signs shall be placed along all roads to give notice of the maximum speed thereon.
   (C)   On all new and all existing subdivision roads in the unincorporated , as adopted in the road system, shall be posted at 20 mph and appropriate signs placed.
   (D)   The maximum speed limit for all school and church buses on roads in Campbell County shall be 35 mph, or the posted speed limit if less than 35 mph during the pickup phase of their route. While transporting students/passengers, no school bus or church bus shall exceed the speed of 45 mph, or the posted speed limit if less then 45 mph For the purpose of this section, the term PICKUP PHASE means the period of time between the pickup of the first students/passengers and the pickup of the last students/passengers.
   (E)   The penalty for a violation of this section shall be a fine in an amount set forth in the schedule set forth in KRS 189.394, fines for speeding (a copy of which is attached to ordinance O-25-2000 and incorporated herein by reference.)
