It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle with over six wheels on any city street posted "no through trucks" by the city's Department of Public Works upon approval by the City Council, or upon state highways within the city limits upon approval by the South Carolina Department of Transportation, except for pickup and delivery on such street. A person driving a vehicle with over six wheels is required to follow signs posted by the South Carolina Department of Transportation for alternate truck routes.
