A. No connections with a water main shall be made without a permit being issued and twenty four (24) hours' notice having been given to the city clerk. Applications for such connections must be made to the city clerk, and the fees provided by sections 8-1-3 and 8-1-5 of this chapter shall be paid for each connection at the time of application.
B. No water shall be turned on for service to property or premises in which the plumbing does not comply with the ordinances of the city, the statutes of the state, and until after the plumbing has been inspected and passed by a certified plumbing inspector. Provided, however, that water may be turned on for construction work in unfinished buildings, subject to the provisions of this chapter.
C. No water from the city public water system shall be turned on for service into any property or premises by any person except by the duly authorized personnel of the city. (Ord. 2-2014, 5-12-2014)
