(A) Whoever violates this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense after the second offense the person is guilty of misdemeanor of the third degree.
(B) Officers may impound any golf cart that is not in compliance with this chapter, or any golf cart operated by a person who does not have a valid driver license or insurance coverage on the golf cart. A golf cart that is impounded pursuant to this chapter may be forfeited.
