§ 135.12 ACCOMPANYING OR SOLICITATION OF MINORS.
   No male person over the age of 18 years shall:
   (A)   Induce or attempt to induce a child under the age of 14 years to accompany him unless such child is accompanied by his or her parent, parents, custodian, or guardian, or unless such male person is a relative of such child of the degree of second cousin or closer or unless such male person is well known to the parent, parents, guardian, or custodian of such child.
   (B)   Make a gift or attempt to make a gift of candy, confections or money to a child under the age of 14 years unless such child is accompanied by his or her parent, parents, custodian, or guardian, or unless such male person is a relative of such child of the degree of second cousin or closer or unless such male person is well known to the parent, parents, guardian, or custodian of such child.
   (C) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
