§ 99.17 WORK TO BE DONE BY CITY CONTRACTORS; LICENSE; FEE.
   No person or firm shall engage in the business or occupation of pruning, treating, spraying or removing trees for the city without first applying for and procuring a license. To procure the license, each applicant shall show proof of certification as an arborist as follows:
   (A)   The firm or company must be a current member of the National Arborist Association and in good standing, or show proof of professional arborist knowledge, and reference.
   (B)   A resume must be written to indicate years of experience and capability by experience or training since company started business in:
      (1)   Pruning;
      (2)   Identification of insects and diseases; and
      (3)   Fertilization of trees.
   (C)   Current valid insurance certificates must be supplied protecting the city as an additional insured from all liability claims. There shall be a $1,000,000 combined, single limit liability coverage for personal injury and property damage and a certificate of Workmen's Compensation coverage for the company's personnel.
   (D)   To prequalify as a bidder for the city, you must provide the above information to secure a contractor's license for the sum of $25 annually.
