§ 96.15 RULES ADOPTED.
   (A)   For the purpose of regulating the use by the public of the lake known as the city reservoir and the property owned by the city which is adjacent thereto, the following rules are adopted:
      (1)   Bathing and swimming are prohibited at all times.
      (2)   Motorless boats not to exceed 14 feet in length are permitted on the reservoir.
      (3)   Electric motors not to exceed 1-1/2 horsepower are permitted to be used on the reservoir.
      (4)   All state laws pertaining to boating safety and to the use of life jackets and other types of personal flotation devices shall be applicable to persons using the city reservoir.
      (5)   Fishing is permitted at the city reservoir except that fishing with a trotline and seining are prohibited.
      (6)   The dumping and scattering of rubbish, paper, cans, and refuse and the committing of any nuisance on the city reservoir itself, or any other property in such close proximity to such reservoir, as to cause danger of pollution are prohibited.

   (B)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
