§ 76.22 DAYS AND HOURS OF OPERATION; HOLIDAYS DESIGNATED.
   (A)   Parking meters shall be in operation and lawful coin is required to be deposited in such meters, which are installed in the parking meter zones designated herein, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except Fridays and Mondays which shall be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Sundays and holidays excluded; and from time to time hereafter as traffic conditions require in such other streets and avenues as are selected by ordinance for the location of such zones.

   (B)   (1)   The following days are declared to be holidays for purposes of enforcement of all parking meter regulations, and are expressly declared to be exempt from payment: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
      (2)   If any of the aforementioned holidays fall on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered as a holiday within the meaning of this section.
