§ 35.16 INJURY COMPENSATION.
   Any city employee receiving injury, whether caused by external accidental means or accidental in character and result, in the course of and arising out of, the injured employee's employment shall receive, if approved by the Safety-Service Director, up to 40 hours' pay, up to 56 hours' pay for firemen; for work missed as a result of the injury. The Safety- Service Director shall grant or deny the benefits hereinbefore set out and shall determine the number of hours of pay, if any, that the employee shall receive.
