VIOLATIONS
§ 51.145 WRITTEN NOTICE OF VIOLATION.
   (A)   Any such notice given shall be in writing and served in person or by registered or certified mail.
   (B)   The notice shall be sent to the last address of the violator known to the village, or its authorized designee.
   (C)   Where the address is unknown, service may be made upon the owner of record of the property involved.
   (D)   If satisfactory action is not taken in the time allotted by the notice, the penalties in § 51.999 shall be implemented.

§ 51.146 LIABILITY FOR LOSSES.
   Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall become liable to the village for any expenses, loss or damage occasioned by reason of such violation which the village may suffer as a result thereof.

§ 51.147 APPEALS.
   The village shall hear appeals from sewer users on matters concerning interpretation and execution of the provisions of this chapter at any monthly meeting of the village.

§ 51.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person found in violation of this chapter or any requirement of a permit issued hereunder, may be served with a written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for compliance.
   (B)   Any person who continues to violate the provisions of this chapter beyond the time limit stated in the notice of violation, may be charged with commission of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $100 for each residential user, and $500 for each commercial or industrial user, for each day the violation continues.
   (C)   Each day or portion thereof that a violation continues shall constitute a separate violation.
