CONTROL OF INDUSTRIAL WASTES DIRECTED TO PUBLIC SEWERS

§ 51.090 INDUSTRIAL WASTE DISCHARGE CHARACTERIZATION.

   (A)   (1)   Within three months after passage of this chapter each person who discharges industrial wastes to a public sewer shall prepare and file a report with the village according to standards prescribed by the village.

      (2)   The report shall include pertinent information relating to the quantity and characteristics of the wastes discharged to the wastewater system.

   (B)   Similarly, each person desiring to make a new connection to a public sewer for the purpose of discharging industrial waste shall prepare and file with the village a similar report that shall include actual or predicted information relating to the quantity and characteristics of the waste to be discharged.

§ 51.091 EXTENSION.

   When it can be demonstrated that circumstances exist which would create an unreasonable burden on the person to comply with the time schedule imposed by § 51.090, a request for extension of time may be present for consideration of the village.
