§ 134.04  DUTY TO REMOVE GRAFFITI.
   (A)   It shall be the responsibility of the owner or occupier of real estate, to remove graffiti on premises owned or occupied by the person within ten days of receipt of notice from the Village of Calumet Park that the graffiti exists and should be removed or covered.
   (B)   In the event that the graffiti is not removed within the requisite time and subsequent to notice by the Village of Calumet Park, the Department of Public Works of Calumet Park shall cause the graffiti to be covered or removed, or the structure torn down. The expense of the removal or coverage shall be recovered from the owner or occupier of the real estate. These charges constitute a lien against the subject real estate. In addition to the above, the Village of Calumet Park may also recover reasonable attorney's fees, court costs and witness fees incurred in the enforcement of this chapter.
   (C)   It shall be the responsibility of the owner or occupier of real estate to apply the same or similar color paint or stain in any attempt to cover graffiti.
