§ 33.047 PURCHASING AUTHORITY.
   The Fire Chief and Deputy Chief are the authorized purchasers of the Calera Fire-Rescue.
   (A)   Town duties.
      (1)   The Fire Chief will present an annual budget to the Town Board outlining any planned capital improvement purchases. The Fire Department will bid all purchases according to the current guidelines set by the town.
      (2)   The Fire Chief or Deputy Chief cannot spend over $5,000 without presenting to the Fire Department membership and receiving a majority vote of members present and with quorum.
   (B)   County Fire Tax.
      (1)   The Fire Chief and Deputy Chief will be the purchasing authority for the Calera Fire- Rescue concerning the County Fire Tax.
      (2)   Two of the captains will be the receiving authority for the Calera Fire-Rescue concerning the County Fire Tax.
