§ 33.043 DEPUTY CHIEF, ELECTION AND DUTIES.

   (A)   In the absence of the Chief, the Deputy Chief shall command the Fire Department and be held responsible therefor in all respects with the full powers and responsibilities of the Chief. The Deputy Chief shall be elected annually from among the members of the Fire Department.

   (B)   The Deputy Chief will be trained to the level of NIMS 300 and 400 within one year of being elected.
