§ 33.001 POLICE DEPARTMENT CREATED; POLICE CHIEF TO HEAD.
   There shall be a Police Department, the head of which is the Chief of Police, or Police Chief, appointed by the Town Board of Trustees and removable by the Board. The Police Chief is an officer of the town and has supervision and control of the Police Department. All police officers are officers of the town.
