Failure to obtain a zoning permit or certificate of occupancy shall be a violation of this Zoning Ordinance and shall require the payment of double the permit amount. Continued failure to obtain a zoning permit and/or a certificate of occupancy shall be punishable under Section 1127.99. The Zoning Administrator or his designee is authorized to immediately cease any construction taking place where an authorized zoning permit has not been issued.
