945.05 GENERAL PROVISION; PURPOSE AND POLICY.

   Sections 945.05 through Section 945.25 inclusive sets forth uniform requirements for discharges into the Municipal wastes works and enables the Village to protect public health in conformity with all applicable State and Federal laws relating thereto.  The objectives are:

   (a)   To prevent the introduction of pollutants into the Municipal wastes works which will interfere with the normal operation of the works or contaminate the resulting sludge;

   (b)   To prevent the introduction of pollutants into the Municipal waste works which do not receive adequate treatment and which will pass through the works into receiving waters or the atmosphere or otherwise be incompatible with the works;

   (c)   To improve the opportunity to recycle and reclaim wastewater and sludge from the works.  (Ord. 84-7.  Passed 5-23-84.)
