An owner, operator or occupant, having been notified as provided in Section 1331.03 of an existing violation and having failed to correct the violation within the time specified in the notice, shall be fined according to the penalty section of the ordinance or code violated and/or shall suffer the structure demolished or repaired by an agent of the Village. If the costs of such demolition or repair having been submitted to the owner, operator or occupant, remain unpaid for a period of thirty days, such costs shall be certified by the Clerk-Treasurer with a forfeiture of five percent thereon to the County Auditor who shall place the costs and forfeiture on the tax duplicate and collect such costs and forfeiture in the same manner as other taxes are collected.
