(A) Henceforth the sentencing Judge or Magistrate shall have the authority to impose court costs upon the conviction or the finding or responsibility for any misdemeanor conviction or civil infraction violation.
(B) Costs imposed by a sentencing Judge or Magistrate shall reflect the amount of actual costs incurred in connection with a defendant’s or a respondent’s case.
