§ 115.02  DEPOSITS REQUIRED.
   (A)   Upon the application for site improvements of private property or public right-of-way, including new construction, the City of Burton, its Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, or other authority, may require the property owner or his or her contractor or other designee to provide a cash deposit in an amount to be determined by the City Treasurer.
   (B)   This deposit shall ensure the depositor’s compliance with all relevant permits, ordinances, and regulations, including, but not limited to, those of the City of Burton and State of Michigan.
   (C)   Upon the city’s determination of construction completion and compliance with the applicable permits, ordinances, and regulations, the required deposit shall be returned to the depositor in accordance with § 115.03.
