For the purpose of this ordinance, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
EXISTING RESIDENCES AND COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS. Residences and commercial buildings in use prior to the availability of public sanitary sewers to the particular residence or commercial building.
PUBLIC SANITARY SEWERS. Sanitary sewers constructed and operated by the County Drain Commissioner as agent for the county pursuant to contracts with the city in the areas designated as County Sanitary Sewer District 1.
WASTE SEWERS. Sewers transporting sewage from residences and commercial buildings to public sanitary sewers.
