§ 51.085   WATER METERS ON PRIVATE SUPPLY.
   (A)   Water meters for the purpose of billing sewer can be installed on private water supplies and shall be available from the Department upon approval.
   (B)   (1)   The owner shall be responsible for setting the meters in an approved location.  Upon completion of setting the meter, the owner shall notify the Department that the work has been completed.  A representative of the Department will make an inspection of the installation, and, upon approval, will authorize a metered billing to take place, from the date of inspection.  A pro-rated charge shall be imposed for any part of a billing month prior to the customer receiving a meter.
      (2)   In addition to the cost of the meter installation, each user shall pay the charges for miscellaneous service and monitoring as determined by the Department.
      (3)   In addition, there shall be a monthly service charge as set by the City Council, and amended by resolution from time to time, billed yearly for reading the meter.
