(A) No person shall take or allow city water to pass between premises other than his or her own, and no person shall sell or allow to be sold any city water from his or her own premises for any purpose, unless he or she has been licensed for that type of sale by the city.
(B) No connection through which water may pass from 1 premises to another shall be maintained or constructed, though the ownership of both premises may be the same, unless prior approval is obtained from the Department, and the connection meets all applicable ordinance codes.
