§ 32.43 CARE OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of all members of the City Fire Department to keep the Fire Department equipment in a serviceable, clean condition and to go with due haste to all fires, and remain there until dismissed by order of the Fire Chief.

   (B)   No fire apparatus of the city shall betaken out of the city limits, except with approval from any officer and shall be manned by Fire Department members only. None of the equipment of the Fire Department shall be applied to private use.

   (C)   Any person who shall willfully, maliciously, or negligently break, deface, destroy, or in any manner injure any fire apparatus belonging to the city, or who shall, in any way, injure or interfere with any of the public hydrants of the city or any structure used by the Fire Department, or who shall, in any manner, obstruct or encumber any public hydrant of the city, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

   (D)   Any person who shall take, use, or carry away for private use or otherwise any of the apparatus, appliances or equipment under the control of the city’s Fire Department without the consent of the Fire Chief shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
