§ 32.40 POWERS AND RULE ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   All rules and regulations concerning the Fire Department, when adopted by the City Council, shall have the same force and effect as ordinances.

   (B)   The Fire Chief or officers shall, at and during the time of all fires, have the powers of the Chief of Police, and any person who shall resist any such officer in the lawful discharge of his or her duty at such time shall be subject to like penalty as for resisting a peace officer.
