(A) It shall be the duty of the city’s Board of Health to keep a record to be known as Board of Health regulations, and it shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Board to record in said book all sanitary regulations of a permanent character.

(B) Whenever it shall come to the knowledge of the city’s Board of Health, or any member thereof, from report or otherwise, that any person is afflicted with any contagious or infectious disease at any of the places mentioned in § 32.04(A) below, or elsewhere within the city, it shall be the duty of said Board of Health to ascertain whether such person so afflicted can, with safety, be removed to the pest house or temporary hospital, and if, in the judgment of said Board of Health, it shall not be deemed proper to remove such person, it shall be the duty of the Superintendent of said Board of Health to post an appropriate sign or notice at the entrance of the room or house in which such patient shall be.
