Any person who shall engage in construction of any type in violation of this chapter shall be subject to a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code, and in addition, each day or part thereof that the violation shall continue after proper notice of such violation shall be considered a separate and distinct violation hereof. However, nothing herein contained shall be deemed to restrict any right of the Board of Trustees to take whatever other action shall be considered necessary to secure compliance with the terms of this chapter.
