1501.99 PENALTY.

   (a)   Criminal Penalties.

      (1)   Whoever violates Section 1501.06(a) is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, provided such violation does not involve illegal manufacturing or processing of explosives as made felonious under Ohio R.C. 3737.821 and 3737.99(G).

      (2)   Whoever violates Sections 1501.06(b) or 1501.07 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.

      (3)   Whoever violates Sections 1501.08 or 1501.10 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.

         (ORC 3737.99(D))

      (4)   Whoever violates Sections 1501.09 or 1501.11 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.

          (ORC 3737.99(E))

   (b)   Civil Penalties. The imposition of the penalties herein described under criminal penalties shall not prevent the City Attorney from instituting appropriate action to prevent unlawful construction or to restrain, correct or abate a violation; or to prevent illegal occupancy of a building, structure or premises; or to stop an illegal act, conduct of business or use of a building or structure in or about any premises.
