(a) The
City Manager/Safety Director
is hereby authorized to employ a clerk within the Department of Public Safety.

(b) The clerk shall comply with all the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission of the City and shall be in the classified service. The clerk shall give bond to the City in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000), which bond shall be approved as to form by the Director of Law.
