§ 92.103 ORDERS TO CORRECT VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   If an owner or occupant fails to comply with an inspection report issued pursuant to § 92.097(A) or a variance issued pursuant to § 92.102, the Fire Prevention Chief may issue an order of compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   The failure of the Bureau to inspect or to issue an order in accordance with this chapter shall not constitute approval of any violation or noncompliance with the provisions of this chapter.
   (C)   Any order issued pursuant to this section shall be served as follows:
      (1)   Occupant. If the notice is directed to the occupant of the building or premises, it shall be served by personal service upon the occupant, his agent or employee, or by leaving a copy of the notice with the person in charge of the building or premises. If no person is found on the premises, a copy of the notice shall be affixed in a conspicuous place on the door or entryway of, the offending building or premises.
      (2)   Owner. If the notice is directed to the owner of the building or premises, it shall be served by personal service upon the owner, his agent or employee, or by leaving a copy of the notice with a competent member of the owner's family at least fourteen (14) years of age, who shall be informed of the contents thereof. If the owner is a corporation, notice shall be made by personal service upon any officer, director, or registered agent of the corporation. If the owner cannot be found or served with any reasonable diligence, service may be made by certified mail to the owner's last known post office address.
