(A) NFPA #96, Standard for Installation of Equipment for the Removal of Smoke and Grease-Laden Vapors from Commercial Cooking Equipment, is adopted by reference and incorporated as though set out in full and is retroactive.
(B) Any kitchen fire suppression equipment installed after August 1, 1988 shall be inspected by the Fire Prevention Bureau at the time of installation.
(1) The company installing the system shall notify the Fire Prevention Bureau when the system is completed and ready for operation.
(2) A form stating the system was inspected is to be signed by both the Fire Prevention Inspector and the installation company's representative. This form is to be kept on file in the Fire Prevention Bureau's office.
