Members of Council unable to attend any scheduled meeting of the Council will notify either the Town Manager or the Mayor prior to the meeting. After the name of any member of the Council has been recorded as present at any meeting, he or she will not absent himself or herself previous to adjournment, unless by consent of the presiding officer.
