§ 153.093 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRED.
   (A)   A certificate of occupancy issued by the Administrator is required for each new use or altered use of land and buildings in each district and shall be applied for simultaneously with the application for a zoning permit. This certificate shall state that the building, the proposed use or use of the land complies with the provisions of this chapter, and shall be issued within 10 days after the erection or structural alteration of the building or proposed use of land has conformed with the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   A certificate of occupancy issued by the Administrator is required for each nonconforming use created by the passage of and/or subsequent amendments to this chapter. The owner of the nonconforming use shall obtain a certificate of occupancy within 30 days of the date of the passage or amendments. This certificate shall be used for maintaining, renewing, changing or extending any nonconforming use created by passage of and/or subsequent amendments to this chapter.
