§ 10.22 COLLECTION OF FINES AND FEES.
   (A)   Generally. The appropriate general district court or the appropriate juvenile and domestic relations district court shall collect all fines and fees imposed or required to be paid in connection with the violation of any provision of this code or any other ordinance of the town and pay the fines and fees to the Clerk of the Circuit Court who shall pay monthly into the treasury of the town.

   (B)   By execution. Fines and fees, the collection of which is required under division (A) above, may be collected by execution issued by the general district court directed to the Chief of Police and returnable within 30 days before the general district court. The officer levying the execution shall sell the property levied upon at auction, for cash, at the front door of the courthouse of the county, after 10 days’ notice of the time and place of the sale, which notice shall be posted at the front door of the courthouse of the county. This section shall not be construed to interfere with the other remedies of the town in collecting fines and fees.
