The council may provide by ordinance that no plat of any subdivision within the corporate limits of the town or within one mile thereof shall be recorded in the Clerk’s Office of Campbell County unless and until it shall have been approved by the council, and the council shall not approve any plat of any such subdivision unless the streets, alleys or other roadways provided for therein conform to the subdivision control ordinance of said town or any amendment thereto.
