(A) Street names.
(1) Street names and numbers shall conform to the established pattern in the town and shall be subject to the approval of the Plan Commission.
(2) Street names shall not duplicate or too closely resemble, phonetically or in spelling, the name of any existing street within the jurisdiction of the Plan Commission.
(3) Streets which are logical extensions or continuations of, or obviously in alignment with, any existing streets either constructed or appearing on any validly recorded plat, shall bear the names of the existing streets.
(B) Subdivision names.
(1) Major subdivision names shall not duplicate or too closely resemble, phonetically or in spelling, the name of any existing subdivision within the jurisdiction of the Plan Commission.
(2) Minor subdivision names shall be determined by reference to the name of the township and minor plat number (i.e., Brown Township Minor Plat No.___).
