§ 32.06 LAW ENFORCEMENT CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM.
   (A)   The Town Council hereby grants to the Police Department authorization to establish and maintain a law enforcement chaplaincy program.
   (B)   The program shall be subject to the following conditions:
      (1)   Chaplains shall be ordained ministers and the pastor of a local church;
      (2)   Chaplains shall be limited in police powers as set forth by any state statute which may be found in the Indiana Code and by Department policy;
      (3)   Chaplains shall be appointed by the Town Marshal but subject to approval of the Town Council and shall meet all qualifications as set forth in the Police Department Policy or Standard Operating Procedures, and;
      (4)   There shall be no more than 2 volunteer chaplains appointed.
