(A) A Town Marshal shall be appointed by the Town Council Applications are to be required before the selection of a Marshal. Investigations as are deemed to be appropriate shall be performed to assure that all of the necessary qualifications and training required will be demonstrated. State Law will otherwise be followed for the selection process of a Marshal.
(B) Additional officers may be hired by the Marshal provided that the number and compensation may not exceed the numbers and amounts set by the Town Council.
