The stormwater pollution prevention plan, abbreviated stormwater pollution plan and comprehensive stormwater management plan review, filing, and inspection fee is part of a complete submittal and is required to be submitted to the Village before the review process begins. The Village Engineer shall establish a fee schedule based upon the actual estimated cost for providing these services. Please consult with the Village Engineer for the current fee schedule.
Note: Regarding erosion and sediment control plans, one municipality requires the posting of a fee reserve balance, which the Village Engineer draws from over the life of a project to cover costs associated with reviews and inspections. When this balance falls below thirty-five percent of its original amount, the applicant may be required to make an additional deposit. Another municipality currently assesses a three hundred dollar ($300.00) fee for all abbreviated SWP3 submittals. Fees should account for a minimum of two site inspections for each month the site is active. The minimum recommended fee is seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).
