Any person desiring to make a proposed division of land, as set forth in Section 1240.01 shall present to the Village Planning Commission for its approval without a plat, as required by Ohio R.C. 153.02, a sketch showing the manner in which such original tract is to be divided into such smaller lots, together with a legal description for each of such smaller lots. The Planning Commission, instead of a sketch, may require a drawing showing the division, prepared by a registered surveyor, together with a legal description, prepared and certified by such surveyor, and may require such other information as is pertinent for its determination.
