The occupational license fee that is levied and imposed by this chapter is at the rate of 0.125% of the taxable gross receipts of everybody who is engaged in any franchise, trade, occupation, profession or other business in the city, and the occupational license fee that is levied and imposed by this chapter is at the rate of 1% of gross compensation of employees earned by them from their labor, services, actions and operations within the city.
