Upon application, a license for any work described in § 1445.01 shall be issued to the applicant by the Building Commissioner, upon payment by the applicant of a license fee in accordance with the Fee Schedule as set forth in Chapter 1449, and the furnishing of a bond as hereinafter provided. Such license shall be issued for a period of one year from January 1 of the year that it is issued and shall expire on December 31 next following the date of issuance. Such license shall be required each year thereafter, for a like period, upon the payment of another license fee in accordance with the Fee Schedule as set forth in Chapter 1449.
