§ 94.27 DISEASED AND INJURED ANIMALS.
   (A)   No diseased or sickly horse, cow, hog, dog, cat, or other animal, nor any that has been exposed to any disease that is contagious among such animals, shall be brought into the village unless under veterinary care.
   (B)   Any animal, being in any street, highway, or public place within the village, appearing in the judgment of the administrator, his or her designated agent, or animal control officer to be injured or diseased and past recovery for any useful purpose, and not being attended and properly cared for by the owner or some proper person to have charge thereof for the owner, and not having been removed to some private premises or to some place designated by such officer or animal control officer within an hour after being found or left in such condition, may be humanely dispatched by such officer, or as he or she may direct.
