§ 90.01 FIREWORKS.
   (A)   Storage, discharge, and exhibitions controlled.
      (1)   It shall be unlawful to store any fireworks in the village, excepting as may be necessary for the giving of a licensed public exhibition of pyrotechnics as is provided for in this section.
      (2)   The discharge, firing, use, or possession of all firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes, Roman candles, or other fireworks or substances designed and intended for pyrotechnic display and of all pistols, canes, cannons, or other appliances using blank cartridges or caps containing chlorate or potash mixture, is hereby prohibited. Provided, that the Mayor may order the public display of fireworks by properly qualified individuals under the direct supervision of experts in the handling of fireworks. Provided also, that such display shall be of such a character and so located as, in the opinion of the Mayor and Board of Trustees, shall not be hazardous to surrounding property, or endanger any persons.

   (B)   Sale prohibited. The sale of any fireworks or pyrotechnics at retail is prohibited within the limits of the village.
