(A) (1) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly, maliciously, wilfully, or recklessly break, damage, destroy, tamper with, apply any tools to, or interfere with the operation of any water line equipment, water meter, its appurtenances and attachments or structures of the village water system.
(2) Any person doing so without authority from the Public Works Manager shall be guilty of an offense.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to connect water service to the customer’s or owner’s premises without authority from the Public Works Manager.
